Technical Services for passive copper (local loop/last mile) Telco circuits

To ensure the integrity and inter-working of multiple network components using broadband transmission technologies over local loop (last mile) passive copper circuits such as;BT’s Baseband Premier (EPS8) and Baseband Standard (EPS9), Oftel has published a document known as the:

‘Access Network Frequency Plan’

All broadband products need to operate within a Power Spectral Density (PSD) mask as defined within the ANFP to work in harmony with other transmission technologies carried within the same Telco grade cable bundle i.e. 100 pair cable.

Net To Net Technologies Network Extender products operate in accordance to the ANFP.

When commissioning EPS8/9’s in preparation for the deployment of your broadband infrastructure, it is wise to ensure the copper twisted pairs in the local loop are capable of also operating to the ANFP.

Network Extender Technologies use powerful advanced line testers from Trend Communications to test, qualify, maintain and troubleshoot EPS and/or privately owned copper circuits to make certain you experience optimum performance from your broadband equipment.

Having problems with your EPS8 or EPS9 circuits?
